Inside’s dark and brooding atmosphere is opposite the characters nimble yet urgent movements in his attempt to get through the world. The puzzles will challenge players adding to a sense of mental strain. The sound design is spare creating a melancholy and haunting feeling of self-reliance.
No music, just the sound of the world.
Inside’s intimate nature makes for an emotional player experience. The play becomes attached to the young character as he tries to escape the impending dangers lurking. These escapes are at times close, the terror only amplified by the player’s new found attachment to the character.
